Bear Traps are common weapons used within Friday the 13th the Game with it being a limited set for Jason Voorhees but an unlimited set for Counselors.
Jason's Traps[]
A quick and easy setup for Jason to use to trap counselors within certain Objectives be it the Phone and or the Cars
The difference between his bear traps and the counselor bear traps are that Jason's traps are camouflage with leaves over it making it sometimes hard to notice and see, and causes a mini-game once an unfortunate counselor falls victim to the trap.

Counselors Traps[]
Counselor Traps are not camouflaged and are used to immobilize both parties be it another Counselor or Jason, making it up to the players on how they play the outcome of a match either by helping or stopping others.
Trivia[]
- Counselors can commit suicide once taking a lot of damage from either Jason and stepping in a Non-Jason trap or jumping through windows.
- Counselors can put traps in front of doors to instant trap Jason once he enters or breaks through the door or wall.
- Jason can't be trapped in his own bear trap whatsoever.
