The Flare Gun is one of two only firearms in-game. It is a small reddish-orange gun that fires a single flare round which has multiple different uses for one of three things that is up to the player.
- Is to shoot around Jason's location which will mark him on the map for every counselor to see if they have a map.
- Is to stun Jason by firing right at which can help make a getaway from his view.
- Is to notify others of your location.
Trivia[]
- Despite it being incapable of doing actual damage sometimes in rare moments the flare gun could somehow knock off Jason's mask while also stunning him.
