Jason Voorhees Tips[]
Each Jason variant has a different set of strengths and weaknesses.
For example:
- Part 7 Jason gets bonus melee weapon damage. Thus he is better than some other Jason's at simply hacking people to death.
- Part 9 Jason can't run but has a reduced cooldown on his Shift ability. Since you won't need to wait long after using shift to use it again, you don't need to worry about wasting it.
- Look for sound bubbles as much as possible.
- Knock out the power boxes around the maps.
- Trap the phone and 4-seater car (key places are: 1. In front of the hood where battery is supposed to be; 2. Near the gas tank; 3. Driver's door).
- Never play with your victims it can cause your own downfall most of the time.
- Remember to check the main house(s).
- Learn where are the main hiding spots. You might find counselors there.
- Break windows. If counselors want to jump out of the broken window, they'll hurt themselves.
- Use throwing knives to injury or stall counselors. (Can interrupt actions of a Counselor)
- Using the offline mode to train your skills is always rewarding.
- Use your mic to mind game your prey (if you have one)
- Know your prey (weapon it carry, character and his playstyle)
- Never mute anyone. You can track the counselors by their mics later in the game.
Counselor Tips[]
- The most basic thing to learn with counselors is what they're good at for example: Brandon Wilson and Tiffany Cox have a repair skill of 1, the worst Repair skill in the game. Thus, while Tiffany's good at acquiring items for repairing things, it's better for her to give the items to another counselor and let the other counselor do the repairs.
- Never let Jason smash the fuse box if you repaired it.
- Close windowsindows behind you (make it look like you were never there).
- If your screen statics, remember to get as far as possible from your current location and do stay in one place (don't run tho).
- Always check your map. If someone drop a crucial item like a car keys, battery or gas can, it is marked on the map.
- Almost anything can save a life (pocket knives, firecrackers, map ect).
- Watch your stamina. Make sure to take a breaks when you're 100% sure it's safe. Best place to rest are inside a houses, under the street lamps and near campfire, since you can reduce your fear there too.
- Pick your character wisely (jason and survivor). Every character has a different playstyle, so choose your role as survivor and pick suitable character. For example: Deborah and A.J are stealthy characters, Chad and Brandon are great to fight and loop Jason.
- Never Ever attack jason for fun. Try to avoid him as much as possible (unless your playstyle is to bait/loop Jason).
- Never, ever and ever run at the start of the game. Avoid sprinting when it's not necessary (it drops your stamina level quickly and Jason can sense you) and jog instead.
- If you happen to see a beartrap inside the house, place it in front of the door.
- Remember tober to stay quiet. If you use headsets and Jason is somewhere near you, he can hear you speaking.
In-Game Tips[]
- Counselors can Dodge, Heavy Attack and Block when in Combat Stance.
Perks[]
It's relatively easy to buy perks for 500 CP each, but if you have redundant perks you can sell them for CP and maybe use that to buy even more perks.
