Windows are a quick and easy way for Counselors to enter and exit buildings. Jumping through in a hurry or going through broken glass will cause damage to a counselor, so be sure to open the window before vaulting over!
Windows can be vaulted in 2 different ways
They can slowly climb over the window and come out on the other side. This animation requires the window being open.
Or dive through the window in a hurry if the player chooses to dive they will be stuck in a getting up animation on the other side, but greatly reduced the chance of them getting hit while climbing through
This animation can be done through open or unopen Windows in hurry. But at the cost of damaging the player and breaking the window
Destruction[]
There are only five known ways for a window to be destroyed in which is either by Jason Voorhees swinging at it open or closed, or Jason Voorhees throwing a knife through an open or unopen window, or a Counselors jumping through an unopened window, or a Counselors using a shotgun to shoot an open or unopen window, or Jason Voorhees using the Window Throw kill to throw a counselor through a open or unopen window.
This will cause some damage to any Counselor if done multiple times and without using a First Aid Spray could either cause a Suicide or if Jason takes a last swing will give them a kill count for him.
Tips[]
- Suicide is a method for those who don't want Jason to get a kill over them. (This is seen as a cowardly display of escaping.)
- Thick Skinned helps against taking significant damage when going through broken windows
